Nos Lamentum - We Lament
No one should suffer alone.
Village Lutheran Church hosted two Nos Lamentum services on December 22, 2022. Although the Christmas season has passed, your mourning for a loved one continues.
You do not need to suffer alone. We recognize that for many, holidays and anniversaries can be anything but joyful. Those events often bring a reflection of lost opportunities and relationships; a reminder of trauma or abuse; or a holiday to live with anxiety, depression, or mental unrest.
During the Nos Lamentum service, we recognized the very real experience of suffering, no matter its source, which can create experiences in tension with the promises of God in Jesus Christ. We invite you to watch the archived service to hear a message of God's love, comfort, and promise of salvation for repentant believers.
If you have any questions, please contact Vicar Drew Oswald at vicar@villagelutheranchurch.org.
