Staff
Our preschool staff focuses on forming relationships with each individual child, and our program grows out of teachers knowing and loving children and accepting them where they are developmentally.
Preschool Director – Mrs. Diane Caughlan
Mrs. Caughlan holds Associates degrees in both Child Development and Teaching. She is a certified Parents As Teachers Educator and received her ECE Administrative certification in 2017. Mrs. Caughlan taught preschool from 1994 to 2018.
Fish Teacher – Ms. Tia Kennedy
Ms. Kennedy has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and is currently working on her Masters degree in English. She has taught in both Kindergarten and 2nd grade classes since 2020.
Fish Class Assistant – Mrs. Olivia Baker
Mrs. Baker holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from Ball State University and is currently working on her graduate degree at St. Louis University. She has been working with families and children within her church and as a nanny for the last 4 years.
Bug Room Teacher – Mrs. Mimi Fitzgerald
Mrs. Fitzgerald received her Elementary Education degree from Creighton University and her Masters in Elementary Education from Southwest Baptist University. She has worked as a Kindergarten aide in the Clayton School District and then taught 2nd grade for the Rockwood School District for 11 years. From 2020-2023, she taught in the three/fours preschool position at St. Joseph’s Manchester.
Croc Room Teacher – Mrs. Mary Michael
Mrs. Michael received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 2008. She received her Master’s in Reading and Literacy in 2014 and became a certified reading specialist. She taught Kindergarten for 13 years at Christ the King School in Springfield, Ill.
Lunch Bunch Teacher – Ms. Claire Golden
Ms. Golden graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in 2019 and attended Kenyon College from 2019-2021. Claire works at Ladue Pharmacy and is also a counselor for our Summer Camp program.
