Curriculum
In this Christ-centered, hands-on, and play-based learning environment, teachers facilitate lessons and activities for each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth.
In our planning and assessment, we follow the Early Learning Standards set forth from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education from the State of Missouri. You can learn more about these standards on dese.mo.gov.
We meet with parents twice a year (October and April) for Parent-Teacher conferences. Our youngest students are assessed using the Ages and Stages Questionnaires, and our oldest students use evidence-based portfolios.
In addition to play-based, hands-on thematic units, we integrate the following curriculum into our classrooms:
