Village Lutheran is a warm and caring preschool program that is small by design, serving families in the St. Louis suburb of Ladue, Missouri since 1979. It is our joy to share the love of Christ and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to reach their greatest potential.
Reflecting the love that Christ has shown to us, Village Lutheran Church Preschool seeks to provide a safe and loving early childhood educational environment where children are nurtured to grow spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotional, and socially.
Our Framework
Village Lutheran Preschool is a ministry and outreach of Village Lutheran Church of Ladue, a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The standard of Operation of the preschool is founded upon and directed by the “In His Hands” resource manual.
Administered by the congregation, the Board of Christian Education of Village Lutheran Church oversees the Preschool.
Our School
Village Lutheran Preschool has three classrooms. The Fish Class for ages 2 and 3, the Bug Class for ages 3 and 4, and the Croc class for ages 4 and 5.
We also enjoy a dedicated art space, indoor activity room, and large fenced in playground with both a surfaced space for riding toys and a wood chip area for climbing and sliding.
Our school year runs from September through May. In addition, we offer 6 weeks of Summer Enrichment Camps in June and July.
Our main programming is from 9 AM until 11:45 AM. Before care is offered from 8:15 AM until 9:00 AM. After care is available until 1:00 PM or 2:45 PM.*
Children must be 3 years old and toilet trained to attend the 2:45 session.
Our Location
Village Lutheran Church and Village Lutheran Preschool are in the same building, which is conveniently located at 9237 Clayton Road in the St. Louis suburb of Ladue. The office and preschool are in the north end of the building.
Village is:
1.3 miles north from the McKnight Road exit at I-64/U.S. 40.
1.4 miles west of Saint Louis Galleria on Clayton Road.
2.3 miles east of Plaza Frontenac on Clayton Road.
